Crystal Art Gallery was founded in 1989 by three partners who were excited by the opportunity to domestically manufacture framed art suitable for every American home. From those early beginnings in Brooklyn, New York, the company expanded into mirrors, photo frames, wall décor, rugs, storage, and home décor accents.

The early years were built through hard work, trial and error, and steady persistence. Starting a manufacturing company came with obstacles at every step. There was no internet, no easy way to find answers, and no shortage of competitors. At the time, Crystal Art Gallery competed against hundreds of manufacturers. Today, only a small handful have stood the test of time.

More than 37 years later, Crystal Art Gallery has grown into a U.S.-led design, product development, sourcing, production, warehousing, and distribution company serving major retailers, wholesale partners, licensing relationships, and a family of consumer-facing home décor brands.

Today, CAG operates from a 200,000 square-foot Los Angeles facility and a 75,000 square-foot Mexico factory, with showrooms in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and Hong Kong, plus an office in Yiwu, China. This global footprint gives us the flexibility to develop, display, warehouse, and distribute products across the country and around the world.

Our 50-person design team develops mass-market home décor collections with a clear understanding of trends, categories, price points, and retail execution. Across three countries, more than 500 team members support the design, sourcing, manufacturing, display, warehousing, and distribution capabilities that help CAG serve customers at scale.

To stay competitive in today’s retail environment, we maintain economies of scale through direct import pricing, FOB shipping, JIT replenishment across multiple categories, and freight programs designed to support shorter lead times from China to the U.S.

With more than one billion pieces of art sold through major retailers, our scale means more than size. It gives us the buying power, production knowledge, and experience to deliver strong quality and fair value across everything we make.
